last week, in Genetic practical we extracted our cheek cells DNA to test for Huntington disease..It's a common neurodegenerative disease. Onset age is around 30+ to 40 and the affected patient usually die at the age of 50..sad

Our lecturer doesnt wan us to test out own DNA..Reason being ..... tell u later.... Anyway Today's practical, we tested our schoolmates DNA (unknown) and view cancer DNA that we prepare last week.

Okay the reason for not letting us test our DNA for this disease is 'cause current there is no cure yet for this disease and...ppl who know they will get this disease will get depress and sometimes even go to the extend of commiting suicide...so..

Got a Good news.. but i dunno if i should be happy or sad leh.. mixed feelings..My application for Exchange Program to Sweden is successful. I think this is just the first round.. i check up the Royal Insitute of Technology (Stockholm) in Sweden and their requirement is that the exchanged student's grade have to be above average...i dun think mine is... so second round will be tough i think..
hmm...I felt that if i dun go, i will regret cos it's a golden opportunity.. cos... i believe that in this exchange, there will be lotsa thing for me to experience and become a more independent person ( WHICH I AM 90% not) BUt if i go.. I WILL MISS MY FAMILY, MY BOYFRIEND, MY DOGS, MY FRIENDS and my HOME!!!!!!
