9 March 07
Nicholas from France invited Yong, Duan, Rong Wei and me for dinner.
He made goose liver also known as Foie gras. Heard its an expensive dish in Singapore.
I am so honoured..A French Cuisine

The piece of meat on the bread was the goose liver. It's like a spread and was meant to eat together with the bread. How it was made was quite cruel..but still..Yeah... the goose was forced fed until the liver expanded like 30times(i was just guessing probably lesser cos my friends told the story using gestures) it's original size. This dish is a popular delicacies of the French cuisine.

We made them fried dumplings and also chinese dumpling (tang yuan)...
Bottom: Duan

Top Left to right : Rong Wei, Yong

See how JC (from France) ate the Tang Yuan using Fork and Knife..

opps... this is JC..

The meal was really Great. I would say i fell in love with Foie gras. The only reason for me not to eat it again is probably cos of its high cholesterol.

We left Nicholas place at about 1130pm. On the train, I saw this:

A dog in a Adidas bag...

KAWAII...
