AS PROMISE
Welcome to Yun & Hwa's Palace
We planned for months, shopped for weeks to design our dream home...
I am very satisfied with outcome considered the amount of money we spent on renovating it...
Our Open concept Kitchen
I always yearn for a bar counter or what u call the breakfast counter, kok kok wants to watch the TV while washing the dishes... so our final decision was to have a open concept kitchen with sink facing the living room....
The View from the open concept kitchen
We wanted our kitchen and living room concept to be modern, simplicity and comtemporary.. so our main colours are black, white and silver.... I like reflective black ...so most of the stuff are reflective...nice to see but tough to clean... If I was given the choice again, I will still make the same choice...
The Living Room

The Corridor to Common Toilet and Masterbed Room
Initally, when I first saw the house, I was quite sad cos our the exposed electricity wire casing..Luckily, we did the right choice by having false ceiling... Though not all are concealed but we tried our best... Besides concealing those ugly wire casing, false ceiling also allow more light points to be created and of cos makes the bean less obvious...

The corridor is one of my favourite area in the house... I like the feel of the hidden light flowing out of the false ceiling...

Common Toilet

The original tile is blue and so is the door... I hate the tiles but it must remain as it is for at least 3 years...so we tried to match the sink to it as well. by this i mean that we changed both the original disgusting blue sink and the blue toilet bowl. Oh and I hate the plastic magnetic door too...Changed it into a black glass door...No regrets!

Kok Kok chose the toilet drop light.. it gave the water-shadow effect... making the soaking-in-the-bath-tub more relaxing...

Our Masterbed room

Desired mood for bedroom is ROMANTIC...So gold and Red is the colour...

i fell in love with the bed immediately when i tried it in the Expo home fair...Gave total support to my back...

Sealy King Size --> Hotel Delux

give me real comfort...makes me wanna be their promoter!

In order to segregate the study area from our dreamland, we used string curtain...The glass door beside our study table leads to our walk-in-wardrobe...Thanks to kok kok for making my dream come true!!!

After much persuation, kok kok finally agreed to knock down one wall... combined 2 rooms into 1 so that i can have a big walk-in-wardrobe...

Sorry to my baby, he or she might have to sleep in the wardrobe next time... hahaha just kidding la i wont ill treat my baby one.. He or she will sleep with me in our SEALY bed...

Walk-in-Wardrobe

Masterbed room Toilet

Within the walk-in-wardrobe, there is a toilet.. Best planning cos this means that after bathing, u can just walk out naked and change in the wardrobe..

I Like dry toilet...so shower screen is a must for me....

Kok kok likes rain shower, so yes for him as well...

Similarly, we changed the ugly sink and toilet bowl as well... plus the auntie flowery tile....

That's the end of the tour... Hope u enjoy it...
....Last but not least...

Thanks to everyone who has contributed some ideas for my to design my dream home....

.. u know who r u ..
