The flight journey was so lonG! I didn't remember that I suffered as much as I did this time during my first visit to California when I was 14. Despite the improvement of the larger leg space and better in-flight entertainment with bigger screen blah blah blah, I still felt that the flight journey was a torture. My back ached like hell. Its like my bones are locked and every movement I made within my seat gave me bone-cracking sound. Anyway, I tried hard to shift my focus to read Danielle Steel, watch Movies( by the way, I watched about 8 movies in total (Girl Scout (korean movie), Sex and the City, The happening, Baby Mama...). I didnt have any sleep during my journey to San Francisco. It was a good thing though because it saved me from getting jet lag.
I was quite annoyed with one of the Air steward's attitude and service towards the old Indian grandma who was sitting beside me. Even before the plane took off from Seoul, the woman had been asking them for a cup of tea so that she could take her medicine. If I am not wrong she asked about 3 times. The third time she asked, guess what the air steward answer?!
"Excuse me lady, there is a lot of people who haven't had their lunch yet and are waiting for us to serve them their food. So would you please wait for your turn? DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME? Hello mdm, do i make myself clear?"
WTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *&!%$%^&^%&*
DAMN PISSING!
DAY 1
19 hours later, we reached SF airport. We took the blue BART to the rental car station to collect our car at HERTZ.
Instead of a Madza 6 which I had been hoping for, they gave me the Hyundai sonata.
Driving in US was unforgetable. Left hand drive. Not only that, they had longer left turn and shorter right turn. Road divider was always on my left. Had to constantly remind myself of that.
With the help of the GPS, I got us to Crowne Plaza. I had a King Size bed all to myself. Wohoo...Very shiok! They provided us with a SLEEP SOUNDLY CD too. It was really soothing. Just like the yoga music.
I stayed in he highest floor.. 6th floor. Lol
Most of the buildings in the city were low-lying. Hence, driving during the sunset added on to the difficulties. Had to put on sun-glasses to block the glaring sun. Luckily, I brought mine!
Anyway, after we reached Crowne Plaza, we unload our stuff and rushed to Gilroy Factory Outlet. Most of the shops were at the verge of knocking off when we got there. Nonetheless, I managed to grab I wanted and burnt my pockets as well.
After shopping, we had dinner at a chinese restaurant nearby our Hotel. ABC restaurant.
Overordered our food. We packed the leftover for our next day lunch.

Day 2
From our Hotel, it was less than 8 mins drive to our work place. Time passed by so quickly. It was lunch time. Our colleagues drove us to a Thai Restuarant and treated us lunch.

For dinner, we went back to ABC restaurant. I quite like the food there. It was not bad.
Day 3
I like their Pantry! They had this coffee making machine which can make different types of coffee.Drooling already lah. Before work starts, We always had our dose of caffeine. And before I know it, it was lunch time again. They treated us to Japanese Restaurant.

After work, We drove to Downtown again. This time was to get a quick peek at their famous crooked street. Looked like a S-course to me only that it is on the slope.
Another group of colleagues treated us lunch this time. Korean food. I like it alot!
Stew tofu with kimchi + ramen
After work, we drove to Hillsdale Shopping Centre in the hope of getting the Ray ban's aviator sunglasses for my kok kok. Surprise for him.
Maybe that was the reason why they gave us free dessert this time.lol..
Day 5
We had expensive lunch at Left Bank. It was a treat too. I had red wine braised chicken with egg noodle. The starter was superb!
Lunch with the entire group.
Mexican Food. Like tarco bell..
We knocked off at about 445pm. Yippie! I can fulfill my dream! To see Golden Gate Bridge.
It was a nightmare to drive to downtown after office hours. JAM plus the stupid GPS played us out. It kept recalculating the direction when it couldnt detect our location due to the overhead bridges or expressway. So it showed different maps each time it recalculated. Really pissed me off especially I am on HIGH TIDE...

In the end, we had to ditch the GPS and apply our map reading skill..Finally, we got close enough to see part of the bridge. After I parked my car, I rushed to the ladies... Luckily, sun waited for us...

No, I didnt see the following picture before I asked the question of cos...

Just as I thought that we were on the right track, the GPS told us to turn left...back into the city centre....HOLY CRAP!
**DADA**
After fulfilling my dream, we walked to Fisherman Wharf. It was totally out of my expectation. I went into a shop and asked for direction to Fisherman Wharf and the lady said, " you are at Fisherman Wharf already" Buahahaha.. threw face!
