I am going to choose my elective subject soon u know... it's a bit brain cracking actually cos i haven figure out what i wan to be next time... there are a few choices they have Agrotechnology, Veternary, Blood Banking, Tissue Engineering, Drug and Pharmacy etc. Tissue engineering sounds interesting to me but i heard from some of my seniors tat this subject is kinda tough. hai.... i dunno what i should choose but so far therer a few subjects which i have taken in the last 2 years and i really like them... they r Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Genetics and Mammalian Cell Technology. Working with animals is kinda fun for me but i really hate killing them .. dissecting is alright so far but the part where u have to do cervical dislocation really sucks... U know how we have to do it ? U have to pull the tail of the poor mouse with one hand and then use another hand to grap the neck. After which u have to pull it outwards horizontally or anyway as long as u break the neck bone from the back bone....it's really disgusting and gross i tell ya... oh man... but the sad thing is i haven even tried once killing it with that method before... i usually killed it using the Chloroform way where u just inverted the mouse in the beaker that has a cotton(With chloroform in it) and then cover the beaker with aluminium foil and after a while the mouse will die sniffing the toxic chloroform... but i tell ya my guy is really keen about killing them using the cervical dislocation method u can call him psychotic or what... u know what he helped to kill almost all the mouse in the lab using the disgusting method and he is so enthu about it... gosh..hehehe... please dun puke but that's it's... ya cruelty to animal..but ... hehehe i was asked to do it for the sake of science u know.... just lik how Ying dissect the dead human body... but she is lucky cos she dun have to kill it cos it's already DEaD.. hehe... My attachment this coming july maybe working in the Drug Company for cancer... so i guess my Chemistry knowledge comes into play...sound good BUT i forgot my Organic Chemistry...I am really pathetic i tell ya i learn and i forget....hai... poor memory.. hey give me some advices about choosing them..
