Down With FLu, COugh, FEver... HOrrible feeling..
Very sad! I didnt go to work today... there goes my unpaid medical leave.... :-(.. lugi i know, but health is more important than anything...
It has been more than 3 years since i last fell sick..

Last Friday, was a super cold day for me. Sneezed the whole day in Lab. Tot steamboat will make me feel better.. but no leh.. nothing seems to help. I tot it was my usual not-enough-sleep symptoms so i didnt go to see doc. TOok Panadol Cold Relief and then went to sleep.

On Sat, woke up coughing. Phlegm with blood...I know my body is heaty le... so drank lotsa of water...still insist on not going to see doc.. still on my panadol cold relief medication. Was quite stone the whole day. I treated my family to PU TIAN restaurant at Kitchener road for dinner. after that, went to sing KTV w my sis, her bf, Mervin (my sis's bf's friend) and Xiao Hui. Quite K-kiang of me to go lah, when i know my throat will give way anytime. Kok kok didnt join us cos he wanted to go home and play dota.. hehe...

Sunday, felt worst.. slept the whole day..kept having cold sweat. dunno why. whole body felt like Jelly. I treated kok kok family to Dian Xiao Er for lunch. Glad that they enjoyed it. After lunch, i went back to sleep again. Slept until giddy... woke up every 1 hour to check the time. Wat a weird body clock i have. Woke up at 10pm to have dinner. After that, went back to sleep till this morning.

630am. I was shivering yet my body felt so hot. I decided to not earn that one day pay. Told my colleague that I wont be coming in for work.

At 12pm, I woke up. After Kok Kok's much persuasion, I decided to see the DOC. Feeling super giddy... Kok Kok went downstairs and helped me take the queue number.

After brushing my teeth, I had a sudden blackout. I couldnt see a thing. My vision came back 3 sec later. I proceeded to bath. Once I turned on my rain shower, I got my 2nd black out. Everthing appeared shiny white though the word is "blackout". How irony. I couldnt see a thing and my head becomes so heavy yet light at the same time that I felt it spinning. "Nobody is at home. I cant faint!" I thought. By then, I was panting. Not enough oxygen maybe... I held on tight to the glass handle of my shower screen. Very determined not to let my body give way. I quickly felt my way around and hurriedly got dressed ..walked back to my bed. There I lay motionless..

For a moment I thought I am going to faint... Just then, I heard kok kok coming back. I called him from the bed. I told him about my blackout encounter. He helped me to sofa and let me rest there before I was ready to walk to the clinic. Normally, it took me less than 2 min to reach the clinic. But today, it took me 5 mins. My vision turned shiny white every 10 steps i took. My whole body weight was practically on kok kok. I had no strength at all..

After seeing the doc, I took my medicine and went back to sleep again. woke up 2 hours later. still feeling giddy and drowsy...Right now I feel very drowsy from the medicine.

I hope tmr i will be ready for work.

This is the first time I have experienced blackout. I will definitely rmb it for life!...
