How to Get To Flottsbro
Took about 1.5hr ride from Lappis to Huddinge where Flottsbro is located.
for my friends who want to get total control of their time in stockholm. this should be useful to u :http://reseplanerare.sl.se/en_default.htm
Left to right: Kevin, Yun Raymond--> these guys are from Hong Kong and they are whom we had snow fight with at Flottsbro the previous time we went.Kevin is good at cooking while Raymond is good at making dessert. Both of them live in Forskarbacken so I am considered lucky. Raymond just moved to my Block (level 3, btw I stay at level 4) Oh yeah, the scarf that I am wearing was knitted by myself. Takes me 2 years to complete it which is ridiculously long.
This picanto is taken for Kok Kok to see..I saw quite alot of Picanto but Mazda 3 is like rare breed. Didnt even see one. Think it's not imported. I saw Mazda 6 though.
This slope is so steep and slippery cos of the ice that Raymond was walking rapidly but almost on the same spot. This isn't funny compared to kevin's stunt. When I turned my back, he was sitting on the ground and used his butt and legs to move down the slope.Kekeke.Ok i shouldnt be so bad cos he has reason for being afraid to fall down.He injured his leg before la that's why.It was so cold that the river and land merged. The river was solidified. This is not good cos it was located at the bottom of the Advanced slope (labeled 1 in the picture below). If u couldnt brake in time, u might end up swimming instead of skiing.
Unexpectedly, there wasnt any ski suit for us to rent. The next time we go, we 've got to wear waterproof clothes. The ski equipment cost 180Kr(SGD$45 )and the ski pass for the so-called "cable car" cost 190Kr(SGD$48) for 5 hours.
this ski trip is probably the most dangerous sport that I have ever tried.Initially, we did not know the existence of the slope labeled 2. We thought that there was only 1 slope available for beginners cos the one with red trail (in the middle) was used for some skiing competition on that day. From bottom of the slope, the steepness looked alright...but i was so wrong!Ok let's talk about how I got up the slope..

This posture looked as if I am professional BUT i am not even close to being a beginner.Amateur I would say.My legs were shaking!!!
If u notice the barrier behind me, u will see that it's just some low unstable netting. If You fail to turn back in time, u will be probably flying to another hill.
Just when I was planning how many falls should I made before I ski onto the iced river, a "whishing" sound cut my thoughts. WHat the..#$%.. Raymond was dragged up instead of being pushed up! his back was on the snow and this hands were holding onto the Cable-butt-supporter. That's not it though. He stood up with one of his ski GONE!How the hell is he going to ski down..Apparently, halfway up, his ski slided down.A guy was kind enough to ski down and get his ski for him.I was laughing non-stop cos Raymond acted like it was normal to be dragged up.
We waited quite a while for Kevin. We got his SMS saying he would like to play at the bottom of the slope instead. He was really lucky not to get up. He later told us that while setting off the cable-butt-suppporter, he fell down 3 times and the guy in-charge ask him to play at the beginner's slope instead.
Two guys saw our "SCARED-ED" expression and decided to accompany us down.. I was the first to ski. HORRIBLE! I couldnt steer away from the net! I ALMOST FLEW OUT OF THE SLOPE. I chose to fall down and did some somersauts (like 20 turns) instead. one of the guys was chasing me and he helped me up.. When I stood up, I was only like 1/5 of the slope. After 5 sec of teaching me how to brake, i skied down again... As usual, the speed was too fast and I was like a mad woman shouting and screaming that I couldnt stop..I did somersaut again. Luckily, i decided not to choose beauty over safety and wore the protective helmet. Otherwise, my face would have been disfigured now.
When I stood up from the 2nd fall, I realised that I had only skied 50% of the slope. The way down seem like forever!!! i decided to stop doing stunt and stood rooted to the SNOW.. Sharon and Raymond, who were still standing at the verge of the peak, then started skiing!!!! They must have been entertained by my stunts. Now, It's my turn to see their performance while standing in the middle of the slope.
Well, somehow the 2 of them ended up rolling to my side. Raymond's finger was bleeding cos he didnt wear glove. 3 of us stood in the middle of the slope waiting for rescue. After much waiting, the Snow mobile came to our rescue!!!! he collected our ski equipment and drove Raymond to the First Aid room leaving Sharon and me behind. In the mean time, I sat down with my back on the snow and tried to slide down. The people at the bottom of the slope must have been amused by us. Sharon followed. Just as we were about to reach the bottom of the slope, the Snow mobile came back.
He droved us down and ppl at the bottom was looking at us in a funny way. It's so embarrassing as the view from bottom was so clear! We really made a fool out of ourselves.
After we came out of the First Aid room (to bandage Raymond's finger), we proceeded to the Beginnner Slope which is labeled 2 on the provious diagram.
This slope is much gentler.I had fun here.

I had FUN skiing. gonna go next time..
